Trainee Sales Executive

Emerald Truck & Van is a commercial vehicle dealership located in Ballymount Business Park and we have a vacancy for a Trainee Vehicle Sales Executive.  This position has become available due to increasing sales volumes and presents an exciting opportunity available for an individual wishing to develop a career in vehicle sales. We require a motivated individual, who wants to deliver great results working within our supportive team environment.

Commercial vehicles affect all our lives. Almost everything we need or want is delivered by a commercial vehicle. A sales role is highly interesting with large variations in vehicle types and the applications they are for. It is never boring and always challenging. Our industry is built on relationships that can develop for years and underpin a successful career. With Emerald Truck & Van you will learn how to meet and greet customers, prospect and appoint leads; and fully qualify customer needs.  You will then learn to follow a professional sales process to sell vehicles and peripheral products to our customers.  Subject to satisfactory completion of a structured development programme, you will then achieve the status of Sales Executive with a different remuneration structure and the opportunity to earn commission.

Experience Required:

1. You will have a strong interest in motor vehicles or transport solutions.
2. You must be well presented, organised and be focussed on delivering great customer service.
   1. You will also have a positive attitude, with the determination to make a success of your career in sales.
   2. A full driving licence is essential and due to insurance purposes you must be 21 or over.
   3. Previous experience in another sales roles would be advantageous but not essential.
   4. Knowledge of commercial vehicles would be an advantage but is not essential.
